UMF™
UMF™ (Unique Mānuka Factor) is the grading system of the UMF Honey Association of New Zealand. Every batch sold under a UMF™ licence is tested by an independent laboratory for the markers of genuine Mānuka honey, including leptosperin, DHA and methylglyoxal (MGO). The higher the UMF™ grade, the higher the MGO.
